About arabooki

A press born from a school

arabooki is the sister imprint of Escuela Internacional de Árabe (eiarabe.com). We have been teaching Arabic online for years, and the books we needed did not exist. So we made them.

How arabooki started

It all started at Escuela Internacional de Árabe (eiarabe.com), a fully online academy where we have been teaching Modern Standard Arabic and Moroccan darija to Spanish-speaking students from all over the world.

Working with students every day we noticed a pattern: good books were missing. In Spanish, in English, in French. The ones that existed were either too academic, too shallow, or stuffed with words nobody uses.

So we made them ourselves. We started with '500 words in Modern Standard Arabic' and '500 words in Moroccan' in Spanish. Then verbs and calligraphy. Now we keep adding titles and languages — the mission is big and we are at the beginning.

arabooki is that press. Independent, made by teachers, written for people who actually learn.

Who we are

Two brothers, teachers, obsessed with getting every page right.

Adam (آدم)

How we work

Deep, not fast

Each book takes months. Written by teachers, reviewed by native speakers, designed by hand.

Only what is useful

No unnecessary words. Just the vocabulary, phrases and verbs people actually use.

Real multi-language

No mechanical translation. Each language gets its own adapted book.
